About the role
The Development Director is responsible for overseeing all fundraising activities, including grant writing, donor stewardship, and event planning. This role requires a deep understanding of nonprofit operations and strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all fundraising activities, including grant writing, donor stewardship, and event planning.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase funding from various sources, including foundations, corporations, and individual donors.
- Strengthen relationships with current donors and prospects through personalized communication and events.
- Manage grant applications and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with the CEO and other team members to align fundraising efforts with overall organizational goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferably non-profit management).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising roles, preferably in a non-profit setting.
- Proven track record of successful grant writing and donor acquisition.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay
Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM.
