About the role
The Development Coordinator supports the Law School's Development Team, focusing on operational support, donor stewardship, and special projects. The role requires some evenings and weekends for events.
Responsibilities
- Supports cultivation activities for Board members and major donors.
- Maintains and organizes materials for advisory board meetings, ensuring inclusivity.
- Coordinates logistics for the Dean’s Society Reception and Scholarship Reception.
- Manages prospect and donor data, including call reports and proposal reports.
- Assists with drafting proposals and gift agreements.
- Organizes and coordinates meetings and travel for senior development staff.
- Produces and distributes reports using various technologies.
- Manages the department budget, including invoice processing and supply orders.
- Provides administrative support to hiring managers and new team members.
- Manages meeting logistics for the Assistant Dean.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of administrative support experience.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Expertise in Google Suite, including Gmail merges.
- Strong presentation and writing skills.
- Ability to articulate Fordham’s Jesuit identity and demonstrate good judgment and discretion.
- Clear communication and professionalism.
- Experience interacting with senior executives in the profit and non-profit sectors.
Qualifications
- Minimum starting salary: $70,000
- Maximum starting salary: $75,000
- Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
