Key Responsibilities
- Conduct timely post-event follow-up with donors, including thank-you communications, feedback outreach, and next-step engagement.
- Track donor touchpoints and follow-up commitments to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Support end-to-end planning for donor and cultivation events, including identifying potential hosts and venues (with guidance from senior development team) and confirming event dates.
- Create and distribute event fliers, invitations, and related promotional material for Israel Friends fundraisers and meetings (in partnership with the Marketing Team).
- Maintain an events calendar and coordinate logistics with hosts, vendors, and fundraising team.
- Identify and coordinate event speakers, including booking and briefing/training them ahead of each event.
- Manage day-of event setup and breakdown, and ensure all necessary materials are packed, transported, and on-site.
- Prepare and manage attendee sign-up sheets and check-in process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- 1–4 years of experience in nonprofit administration, events, fundraising, or a related field; internship experience considered.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional, polished demeanor.
- Comfortable and confident engaging with high-net-worth individuals and donors in professional settings.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace preferred; proficiency with CRM and AI tools, specifically Claude, required.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends to support events.
