Key Responsibilities

  • Aid in the planning and execution of development strategies.
  • Support data entry and reporting for the development team.
  • Prepare and execute gift proposals for the development team.
  • Support development event preparation and execution as needed.
  • Conduct prospect and meeting briefings.
  • Handle correspondence and share materials between development and other campus offices.

Qualifications And Experience

  • A desire to be part of a collaborative team committed to advancing an institutional mission and a strategic plan.
  • The ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • A self-motivated, customer-friendly, results-oriented, flexible, and dedicated individual.
  • A collaborative working style and ability to work well as a member of a team.
  • An organized individual with strong multi-tasking skills.
  • Expertise in using office technology and in drafting and refining presentations.
  • Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge or the equivalent is a plus.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Three to five years of experience in Development is strongly preferred.
  • The ability to work in person when necessary.

Other Requirements for Consideration

This position is a fixed-term role and is part-time with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
