Developer Relations Manager, Higher Education and Research - AI for Science

Location: Remote - US based candidates only

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Telecommunications & Hardware environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor, integrating the company’s technologies into research workflows
• Map the research ecosystem to identify growth opportunities
• Stay updated on research papers to anticipate trends and collaborations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable researchers effectively
• Build strong relationships with lab personnel to understand research scope
• Attend scientific conferences and facilitate the company’s presence
• Represent researchers' needs to inform internal roadmaps and programs

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Computational Science, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in research/industry focusing on AI and Science
• Deep expertise in applying AI, including Generative and Physical AI, to scientific domains
• Strong understanding of research challenges in AI and computational science
• Hands-on experience with modern AI systems frameworks
• Established research credibility through high-impact publications or collaborations

Pay

$152,000 – $287,500 annually
