Developer - Network Data Quality & Configuration Automation

About the role

Developer with 7+ years automating data-quality monitoring and configuration management for high-throughput network and packet-capture environments. Track record building scripts that turn raw device telemetry into actionable metadata, auto-generating switch/appliance configuration, and exposing operational data through APIs — including recent work integrating instrumentation metadata with AI/chatbot interfaces via MCP-style integrations.

Responsibilities

• Aggregate switch and Corvil environment administration and scripting
• Develop scripts in Python, Go, and Bash for telemetry collection, time-series data quality checks, and config generation
• API development (REST, MCP-style integrations) for exposing operational/metadata systems
• Work with network aggregation/tap architecture: client/venue links, load balancers, firewalls, feed handlers, trading servers
• Implement configuration-as-code and templated config generation for network appliances
• Utilize time-series monitoring stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, InfluxDB or equivalent)

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience automating data-quality monitoring and configuration management for high-throughput network and packet-capture environments
