Developer-Full Stack Senior

About the role

We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer to support a large-scale data modernization initiative for a large financial services client. This role is centered on transforming legacy data processes into real-time, event-driven systems, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI technologies to drive efficiency, automation, and innovation.

The role is remote, based in the U.S, and is a contract position for approximately 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop full stack applications supporting data modernization efforts
• Build and implement real-time data pipelines into modern OLTP systems
• Leverage AI technologies to optimize data migration, reconciliation, and automation
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices
• Work with event-driven architecture and distributed systems
• Partner with cross-functional teams across architecture, security, and platform engineering
• Support the transition from batch-based processing to real-time data streaming

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in full stack application development
• 8+ years of experience with Java or Python
• 1–3+ years of hands-on experience working with AI technologies or agents
• Strong experience with backend development and RESTful API design
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and data streaming technologies
• Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architecture
• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, microservices, and DevOps practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Pay

The pay rate for this position is between $65.00 and $82.26 per hour, contingent on experience and other factors.
