About the role
Kentro is seeking an experienced Developer to support a large-scale Enterprise Knowledge Management (EKM) program for U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) at Jacksonville, NC.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain enterprise software solutions supporting program objectives.
- Analyze functional requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Support enhancement and sustainment of enterprise knowledge management and collaboration capabilities.
- Troubleshoot software issues and implement timely resolutions.
- Participate in system testing, validation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance activities.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation supporting system development and operations.
- Collaborate with Government personnel and multidisciplinary teams to deliver mission-focused capabilities.
- Support modernization, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure solutions comply with applicable security requirements, organizational policies, and established development standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of contract objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education, military service, and professional experience.
- Experience designing, developing, testing, implementing, or maintaining enterprise software solutions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working collaboratively within technical teams.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic operational environment.
- Active U.S. Government security clearance.
Nice to Haves
- Experience supporting Department of Defense, Combatant Command, Service Component, Special Operations, Joint, or other complex federal environments.
- Experience supporting Knowledge Management, Information Management, Digital Modernization, or related mission support initiatives.
- Experience working with enterprise collaboration or information-sharing environments.
- Familiarity with Agile or other iterative software development methodologies.
- Relevant technical or professional certifications.
