Developer Advocate - Service Management

Location: Remote – US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually

This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert in service management areas
• Create content to enhance the brand’s reputation in the tech community
• Partner with product teams to build demos and coach engineering teams
• Engage with open source communities to promote key messaging
• Provide feedback to improve product features and documentation

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Platform Engineer, SRE, DevOps Engineer, or Software Developer with incident response experience
• Strong understanding of service management practices and relevant tools
• Passionate about addressing both technical and organizational challenges
• 2+ years creating impactful content and story-telling in tech
• Publicly available writing samples or presentations on technical topics
• Familiarity with programming languages and modern infrastructure APIs
• Self-driven in exploring new technologies
