About the role

The role involves helping AI/ML developers understand the challenges and solutions when deploying models on Dexmate robots. Key responsibilities include building and publishing sample projects, writing technical tutorials, and creating SDK documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Build and publish sample projects that demonstrate AI/ML model deployment on Dexmate.
  • Write and publish technical tutorials weekly, covering topics like model training, fine-tuning, and deployment.
  • Own the SDK documentation, ensuring it is current and accessible within 48 hours of any platform change.
  • Answer developer questions in Discord and GitHub Discussions, responding to inquiries within 24 hours.
  • Create reference integrations with AI model providers and publish architecture guides.
  • Speak at AI/ML conferences and run live demos for developers and enterprise prospects.
  • Surface model integration issues and suggest platform improvements to engineering.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Python with real-world ML engineering experience, including model training, fine-tuning, inference optimization, and ML infrastructure.
  • Experience shipping models in production environments.
  • Curiosity about the physical world and interest in understanding how AI models interact with robotic systems.
  • Ability to write clear, well-documented, and opinionated code that other engineers want to use.
  • Experience creating technical content that has gained traction, such as GitHub repos, tutorials, and blog posts.
  • At least 3 years of ML engineering experience, including model development, training infrastructure, inference, or MLOps.
  • Able to maintain a consistent publication schedule, avoiding the failure mode of planning content without shipping it.

Qualifications

  • Experience with vision-language-action models or embodied AI research.
  • Hands-on experience with sim-to-real transfer work using tools like Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, Drake, or Genesis.
  • Existing technical presence on platforms like a blog, GitHub, or YouTube, with real engagement.
  • Open-source contributions to ML projects.

Skills

  • Python programming skills.
  • Experience with robotics and physical AI.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
