Developer Advocate, DevSecOps

About the role

This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address common DevOps and developer pain points before building solutions
• Create realistic and reusable pipeline templates and code samples for developers
• Oversee the 'zero to first pipeline run' paths for flagship products and validate user experience
• Record concise technical tutorials and live coding demonstrations on CI/CD workflows
• Manage and update the example-repo strategy as a reliable source of documentation
• Maintain current and functional samples and tutorials as the product evolves
• Engage with developer communities to understand and respond to real pain points and queries

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of hands-on CI/CD experience in production environments
• Proficient in YAML, Bash, Python, or Go, with experience in git and containers/Kubernetes
• Background as a software engineer or DevOps practitioner that includes shipping products
• Ability to write clear, user-friendly technical content for engineers
• Comfortable in front of a camera or microphone for creating technical content
• Self-directed, able to identify gaps in self-serve content and address them independently
• Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, ArgoCD, and concepts like GitOps/progressive delivery

Pay

$150,000 – $162,000 annually
