Developer Advocate

About the role

We're looking for a Developer Advocate to empower and grow our global developer community. This role bridges the gap between Notion's teams and developers, helping to define how they discover and ship on our platform.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and support relationships between developers and Notion's Product and Engineering teams.
• Build and publish engaging and helpful content, including demos, guides, API reference material, and blog posts.
• Audience amplification through community-created content on platforms like X.
• Drive developer engagement and activation at hackathons, conferences, and events.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Business Development teams to improve API capabilities and guide the developer community through changes.
• Develop and execute strategies for Notion's key developer channels, including Notion Devs Slack, Notion Devs X, and developer documentation.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure developer features are understood and valued by our customers.

Requirements

• A solid technical background and strong presence in the developer community.
• An exceptional communicator, able to interface with both individual developers and large audiences.
• The ability to build from 0 to 1 and own a program that grows as a company-wide initiative.
• An interest in business opportunities that the Developer Platform opens and accelerates for Notion.
• Experience partnering with engineering teams to deliver anticipated products.
• Experience managing internal stakeholders and project timelines.
