Typical Task Breakdown

• Design, product development, and problem-solving meetings with suppliers, internal manufacturing, assembly and test teams
• Coordinate and conduct measurement, assembly and test planning
• Disassemble injectors, inspect, measure components after test, and compare results to pre-test condition
• Update engineering technical drawings and coordinate production releasing
• Provide routine progress updates to senior management

Education & Experience Required

• Years of experience: 2-4 years
• Degree requirement: BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field

Top 3 Skills

• Structured problem-solving experience / familiarity (8D or similar)
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
• Close attention to detail, curious, drives to physics-based understanding of the 'why' for root cause(s) of issues and component observations

Additional Technical Skills

• 3D modeling and engineering drawing detailing experience
• Comfortable working with hand tools, lab equipment (microscope, measurement equipment)
• Familiar with Design FMEA, validation planning and reporting (DVP&R)
• Experience with engineering systems is a plus (Teamcenter, PRWB, Creo)

Pay

$40.00 - $42.00/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
