HybridHealthcare$150k–$200k/yrFull-time

About the role

You'll be the person developers learn Firecrawl from β€” through docs that actually help them build, YouTube tutorials they watch start to finish, and community presence that makes them feel like they're building alongside us, not just consuming our API.

Responsibilities

  • Own Firecrawl's technical documentation β€” rewriting, restructuring, and maintaining docs so both humans and AI agents can discover and use the product effectively
  • Run and grow our YouTube channel β€” scripting, filming, editing, and publishing a consistent cadence of tutorials, walkthroughs, and demos developers actually finish watching
  • Build a presence in the AI engineering and open source community β€” on social, at conferences, in Discord servers, in the places developers actually hang out
  • Create content that drives adoption β€” not just views β€” by meeting developers where they are in the build process
  • Show up on camera and on stage: conference talks, livestreams, Twitter Spaces, wherever our developers are

Requirements

  • A software engineering background and have built with APIs, SDKs, or developer tools
  • Know what it feels like to hit a wall in someone else's docs β€” and know how to fix it
  • Fluent in the AI/ML developer ecosystem
  • Understand that in an agent-first world, documentation needs to be structured for machines as much as humans
  • Have real relationships in the AI engineering or open source world

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in developer relations, technical content, or software engineering with a content track record

Skills

  • Content marketing
  • Technical writing
  • Video production
  • Community management

Benefits

  • Generous PTO β€” 15 days mandatory, anything after 24 days, just ask (holidays excluded)
  • Parental leave β€” 12 weeks fully paid, for moms and dads
  • Wellness stipend β€” $100/month for the gym, therapy, massages, or whatever keeps you human
  • Learning & Development β€” Expense up to $1,000/year toward anything that helps you grow professionally
  • Sabbatical β€” 3 paid months off after 4 years, do something fun and new
  • Full coverage, no red tape β€” Medical, dental, and vision (100% for employees, 50% for spouse/kids)
  • Life & Disability insurance β€” Employer-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance β€” coverage for life's curveballs
  • Supplemental options β€” Optional accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and voluntary life insurance for extra peace of mind
  • Doctegrity telehealth β€” Talk to a doctor from your couch
  • 401(k) plan β€” Retirement might be a ways off, but future-you will thank you
  • Pre-tax benefits β€” Access to FSAs and commuter benefits (US-only) to help your wallet out a bit
  • Pet insurance β€” Because fur babies are family too
  • San Francisco HQ perks β€” Snacks, drinks, team lunches, intense ping pong, and peak startup energy
  • E-Bike transportation β€” A loaner electric bike to get you around the city, on us

Pay

$150,000–$200,000/year (SF, U.S.-based), based on impact, not tenure
