Responsibilities

  • Apply changes to TFS at the request of development teams and resolve issues within TFS workflows
  • Assist in the creation of new users in TFS environment and onboarding into the system
  • Keep all environments up to date with latest patches
  • Design and implement strategies for collaboration, code, infrastructure, source control, security, compliance, continuous integration, testing, delivery, monitoring, and feedback
  • Coordinate with development and operations teams to streamline code releases
  • Develop new scripts and tools to enhance existing automated structures and improve process and documentation to enhance productivity
  • Manage Azure DevOps environment and CI/CD pipelines
  • Monitor systems, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement solutions proactively
  • Ensure critical resolution of system issues using best cloud security solutions
  • Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation
  • Report status and escalate issues effectively
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies
  • Manage creation and maintenance of all relevant documentation required for compliance with applicable regulations
  • Plan disaster recovery measures and maintain data storage security in Azure
  • Identify process improvements to increase performance, productivity, and consistency of testing
  • Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, ISO 13485 standard requirements, and all other applicable laws, regulations, and standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field plus 5 years of experience with TFS/Azure DevOps Server with build and release management, OR
  • High school diploma/GED plus 9 years of experience with TFS/Azure DevOps Server with build and release management
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools
  • Extremely strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows, relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle, virtualization, networking
  • Working knowledge of TFS/Azure Server, CI/CD, PowerShell, Python, source control (Git)
  • Enjoy learning and promoting new processes and technologies
  • Apply analysis and common sense to determine risks
  • Prioritize and organize effectively

Physical requirements

  • The ability to sit 75–100% of applicable work time
  • The ability to use hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time
  • The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 25% of applicable work time
  • The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time
  • Close vision: the ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less

Up to 10% travel may be required based on business need.
