DETOX SUPPORT SPECIALIST
About the role
Stonington Institute, a division of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), has an immediate opening for a per diem Detox Support Specialist. The facility provides quality substance abuse treatment for adults in Southeastern Connecticut, offering medical detox, residential addictions treatment for active duty and retired military, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services in Groton, CT, and is linked to The Inn at Trails Corner, a 180‑bed sober community offering overnight accommodations, meals, recreation, workout room and computer center. The Detox Support Specialist observes the unit to ensure the safety and security of the environment for clients and visitors of the Substance Use Disorder Facility.

Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Previous medical assistant and/or certified nursing assistant experience preferred.

Pay
Competitive compensation: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour.
Schedule
Per diem position requiring availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
