About the role
The role involves managing student behavior in educational settings, implementing discipline policies, and ensuring a safe learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor student behavior and intervene as necessary to maintain classroom order.
- Implement and enforce school discipline policies.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members to address student issues.
- Assist in the development and implementation of behavioral intervention plans.
- Document incidents and communicate with relevant parties as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or a related field.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Experience working with children and adolescents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Knowledge of state and local laws regarding student discipline.
- Experience with behavior management techniques.
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
