Detention Deputy Pool
Description Of Duties/Essential Functions
Performs highly responsible, sensitive and confidential investigative duties. Gathers and analyzes relevant facts and data concerning abuse, neglect, death, serious injuries and exploitation of adults with disabilities in domestic settings; compiles and analyzes facts pertaining to abuse and neglect cases under investigation; completes investigations by preparing reports, summarizing investigative activities and recommends conclusions to findings.
Assists the Training Coordinator in providing training programs.
Minimum Requirements
- Knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four years college with major course work in law, government, liberal arts, history or business or public administration, plus two years professional experience in law enforcement investigatory work or a related field.
- Ability to travel.
