Detection & Investigation Analyst Lead: Inbound Zelle - Sunday - Thursday 8:30 - 5:00 pm
About the role
The Detection & Investigation Analyst Lead within PNC's FDO Zelle Fraud organization supports the Inbound Zelle Team. The role is based in various locations including Birmingham, AL, Strongsville, OH, Louisville, KY, and Denver, CO.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes cases generated from the enterprise fraud detection systems and the network in the Customer Relationship Portal.
- Talks with customers whose transactions are suspicious of potential fraud.
- Reports suspected fraud as requested.
- Performs early detection of suspicious activity and controls and prevents losses.
- Led the work of and/or trains detection and investigation staff.
- Researches and analyzes bank activities and reports to detect and prevent possible fraudulent and suspicious activities.
- Recommends disposition, identifies gaps and control enhancements, and follows defined research procedures to identify and resolve issues.
- Identifies trends and escalates as appropriate.
- Shares best practices among the team and/or service partners.
- Prepares and maintains appropriate documentation of analysis performed and coordinates with internal or external stakeholders as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
- Preferred skills include Analytical Thinking, Customer Solutions, Decision Making, Operational Risks, Problem Resolution, Researching, and Risk Mitigation Strategies.
- Competencies include Anti-money Laundering/Sanctions Policies and Procedures, Business Ethics, Business Process Improvement, Decision Making and Critical Thinking, Effective Communications, Fraud Detection and Prevention, Information Capture, Operational Risk, Problem Solving, Standard Operating Procedures.
- Work experience includes roles requiring a university/college degree with < 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program.
- Education requires a Bachelors degree.
- No required certifications or licenses.
Pay
Base Salary: $41,250.00 – $75,625.00
Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education.
