About the role

Teph Seal Auto Appearance is seeking automotive detailers to join our team. Ideal candidates should have 1 or more years of detailing experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Washing the exterior of vehicles using various cleaning solutions
• Waxing and buffing vehicles using cloths and buffing machines
• Vacuuming interior of automobiles to remove dirt and debris
• Cleaning upholstery and surfaces
• Using air compressors and cloths to dry surfaces
• Applying preservation chemicals to surfaces for protection against spots and stains
• Using different types of dyes, paints, and waxes to protect the leather or fabric of vehicles
• Cleaning and removing grease from engines or engine compartments

Requirements

• Frequent movement: bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, and getting into/out of various vehicles repeatedly
• Outdoor work and varying climate conditions
• Moving numerous vehicles during the course of the working day
• Use of safe and OSHA-approved waxes and cleaners
• Flexing of spine, hands, wrists, and fingers
• Frequent and continual flexing of spine, hands, wrists, and fingers
• Receiving detailed information through oral communication
• Clarity of vision and hearing
• Ability to distinguish small imperfections in work
• Quality inspection of own work and that of others
• Work with a sense of urgency
• Strict adherence to uniform and grooming standards

Qualifications

• Flexible and willing to carry out additional duties as assigned
• Willingness to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as needed
• Commitment to arriving on time and staying on task during shifts
• Availability to drive both automatic and manual shift vehicles
