This role operates within a Manila-based full-service travel agency, specializing in domestic and international destinations, trip types, activities, optional tours, and visa assistance. The Destination Specialist ensures travel planning and service are executed with a destination-focused approach, maintaining clear separation between confirmed facts, pending dependencies, and exceptions.
Responsibilities
- Document destination-focused specialist tasks with supplier coordination, ensuring each checkpoint includes a visible source, owner, status, and next action within the agency’s workflow.
- Maintain Gladex Travel and Tours Corp role documentation with status tracking, ensuring traceability and accountability for all destination-focused tasks.
- Reconcile reservation systems with deadline management, keeping all dependencies and exceptions clearly documented and actionable.
- Coordinate documentation with reporting, ensuring all work is traceable and unresolved items are assigned owners before becoming downstream issues.
- Review quality control with workflow management, surfacing repeated errors early to prevent rework and maintain usability under agency demands.
Requirements
- Confidently use Gladex Travel and Tours Corp workflow tools and travel planning systems to support destination-focused specialist tasks.
- Apply data accuracy without losing track of evidence or deadlines in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
- Document process compliance and issue escalation decisions clearly, ensuring reasoning is transparent within the agency’s operating context.
- Exercise judgment in follow-up actions, particularly when tasks depend on external confirmations rather than assumptions.
- Ensure role-specific handoffs are complete by maintaining current status tracking, follow-up, and documentation; work remains open until these signals are up-to-date.
Pay
Base salary: $42,000–$65,000 per year.

Full-time, associate-level position. 100% remote within the United States.
