Dessert Cart Attendant - United Center
Job Summary
The United Center, the largest arena in the United States, is located on the West Side of Chicago. Home to the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks and NBA's Chicago Bulls, the venue also hosts concerts, shows, and other large-scale events.
Position Summary
The Dessert Cart Attendant is responsible for preparing and servicing dessert carts for suite guests at the United Center. This role requires excellent guest service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, stock, and maintain dessert carts with utensils and dessert items.
- Assist and interact with Suite Attendants during service; suggest and describe desserts to guests.
- Accurately log sales, handle billing via tablet, and complete pre/post-event inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for carts and dessert areas.
- Uphold professional appearance, demeanor, and guest service standards.
- Communicate guest concerns or product issues to management.
- Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service guidelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of related experience or training.
- Strong communication and basic math skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Outgoing personality with a team-focused attitude.
- Must be available to work all events, including evenings and weekends.
Pay
Levy Sector Pay: $22.00 plus tips
