About the Role
The IT Vulnerability/Helpdesk Technician identifies, assesses, and mitigates security vulnerabilities within the organization’s IT Endpoint infrastructure while providing on-site support in the Newtown Square office. This role includes conducting vulnerability assessments, coordinating with users to remediate vulnerabilities, and delivering both on-site and remote helpdesk support.
Responsibilities
- Monitor vulnerability scans performed on systems and applications.
- Mitigate identified vulnerabilities by contacting users and remotely accessing laptops to apply patches.
- Identify and document security vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure timely resolution of vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain vulnerability management procedures and documentation.
- Conduct security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
- Stay informed about emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices.
- Support third-party security audits and assessments.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to users, including troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
- Respond to tickets from the Support queue using BeyondTrust Remote Support.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a Windows IT services end-user support or Endpoint Administrator role.
- Experience in helpdesk support.
- Experience in vulnerability assessment and management.
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as Nessus, MECM, and Intune.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
