About the role
The primary responsibility is to provide technical support and maintain the company's computer systems and networks. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring all systems are secure.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person visits
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems
- Perform routine system maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, and security checks
- Ensure all systems comply with company policies and adhere to security protocols
- Document issues and solutions for future reference
- Work closely with other IT staff and external vendors as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical support role
- Must have a valid U.S. security clearance
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and common software applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- Experience with network administration and server management
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices
- Experience with land mobile radio systems
