Desktop Support Technician L1/2
We are seeking a customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on deskside support for end users in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for an IT professional who enjoys troubleshooting technical issues while delivering exceptional customer service. The technician will support hardware, software, and user access issues, handling an average of 25 tickets/calls per day.
Responsibilities
- Provide deskside and remote support for end users experiencing hardware, software, and system issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve Windows operating system, application, and device-related problems
- Configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access requests through Active Directory
- Document incidents, service requests, resolutions, and escalations within the ticketing system
- Support Microsoft applications and collaboration tools, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and other Microsoft 365 products
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate IT teams when necessary
- Deliver a high level of customer service and maintain professionalism during all user interactions
- Participate in hardware deployments, upgrades, and workstation setups
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 1-3 years of professional IT support experience
- Experience providing hands-on, end-user support in a help desk, desktop support, or technical support environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, including user account management and password resets
- Experience with ServiceNow or another ITSM/ticketing platform
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and collaboration tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
