About the role
DCCM is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. This role provides first-line support to users and ensures efficient and reliable IT systems for all locations.
Responsibilities
- First line of contact for desktops, laptops, tablets, plotters, scanners, and other information technology systems (local and remote)
- Respond to user issues reported through tickets or management requests, and update tickets accordingly throughout the issue resolution process
- Create articles for the knowledge base to ensure common issues and configurations are well documented and available to employees
- Onboard new employees including provisioning of equipment and logins and orienting employees to the environment
- Offboard of departing employees including disabling of access and collection of assets
- Cook up facilities-related tasks including office moves, shipping/receiving, conference room support
- Cook up with vendors for warranty repair of IT assets
- Identify process improvements to present for consideration and implementation
- Ensure work is carried out within service level agreements and quality standards
- Provide technical assistance for users regarding login and access issues to resources
- Maintain accurate inventory of hardware, software, and other equipment
- Comply with local and corporate policies and procedures to ensure company routines and regulations are met
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Experience installing, maintaining, and trouble-shooting Desktop/Laptop/Tablet computers
- Clear and valid driver’s license with reliable transportation

Pay
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with standard business hours.
