Key Responsibilities
- Provide desktop and server support for Windows systems (installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance).
- Aid users with software and hardware issues in both Linux and Windows environments.
- Perform routine system maintenance and updates across supported platforms.
- Maintain documentation of procedures, configurations, and system changes.
- Collaborate with IT team members on infrastructure improvements and automation projects.
- Participate in system upgrades and deployment of new technologies.
Qualifications
- Recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or 3–5 years of experience in IT support roles.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of Windows desktop and server environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Exposure to virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, VirtualBox, KVM).
- Knowledge of remote desktop and remote management tools.
- Understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
Pay
Pay range for this role: $38 USD - $44.23 USD
