Desktop/PC Technician

Position Summary

We are seeking a PC Technician to provide onsite IT support across multiple locations in the Greater Orange, NJ area. This role will focus on workstation and printer setup, basic troubleshooting, and IT equipment inventory. Local travel will be involved.

Responsibilities

• Travel between assigned locations to provide onsite IT connections.
• Set up and configure PCs, laptops, monitors, printers, and other peripherals.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, workstation, and printer issues.
• Assist with equipment moves, replacements, and installations.
• Capture and maintain accurate IT asset inventory.
• Document work performed and escalate more complex issues as needed.
• Provide professional and responsive support to staff.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of IT support, desktop support, help desk, or PC Technician experience.
• Hands-on experience with PC/workstation and printer setup.
• Basic Windows hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel between multiple school locations.
• CompTIA A+ or similar certification is a plus.
