About the role

Pacific Woodtech (PWT) is a state‑of‑the‑art LVL manufacturing facility that produces engineered wood for structural buildings throughout the United States and internationally. The company makes laminated veneer lumber (LVL) used for headers, beams, rim board and columns, which is stronger, straighter, and more uniform than typical milled lumber and less prone to warp, twist, bow or shrink. Responsibilities

• Run machinery in the Press Department to lay up wood with glue and press it into large boards (billets).
• Operate equipment in the Packaging Department to cut, rip, coat, stack, and wrap LVL into shipment‑ready packages.
• Monitor product quality and ensure it meets top‑notch standards.
• Provide input on process improvements and contribute ideas that are turned into solutions.

Requirements

• No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
• Willingness to learn and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
