About the role
This position involves managing and supporting various computing resources in a hospital setting, including PCs, notebooks, thin clients, tablets, smartphones, printers, copiers, fax machines, and scanners.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, secure, repair, implement, and manage hospital-wide computing resources.
- Develop, distribute, and maintain desktop images and software packages.
- Resolve technical issues via phone, email, in-person using a trouble ticket system, and respond to issues according to department policies.
- Work directly with customers to solve any and all Information Technology issues.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of relevant experience and/or training.
- Ability to work any scheduled shift and respond to on-call situations.
- Current A+ certification and one IT industry-recognized certification, which must be obtained within six months of hire/transfer date.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field may substitute for the industry-recognized certification.
