Desk Estimator $60,000 - $65,000 + bonus Our Desk Estimator prepares scopes and estimates for reconstruction and emergency services on site, scoping losses, creating estimates using Xactimate software, and securing the project. The Desk Estimator’s primary responsibilities are to create estimates using estimating software, for reconstruction and emergency services from 3D scans and Project Director scopes. Collaborate with clients to gain estimate and invoice approval. This is an in-person role at our Omaha location. The ideal candidate will have: Bid Accuracy: Strong attention detail, reducing errors and omissions. Higher Win Rates: Ability to create more competitive and professional bids faster. Time Savings: Ability to free up project managers to focus on active jobs RESPONSIBILITES: Meet all service standards set forth by the client or the company.Estimate each loss using a 3rd party estimating software, Xactimate or Symbility (as required). Utilize internal review processEnsure each project achieves a minimum gross profit margin as determined by company standards.Complete estimates within 24 hours of assignmentCommunicate and document any change orders and insurance supplements.
