Designer Sales Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Design Sales Consultant to join our team in Chicagoland. With four generations of craftsmanship and client-centric service under our belt, we're looking for someone who can turn clients' visions into reality.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients in their homes to present and measure for custom window covering solutions
• Closely build lasting relationships to generate repeat and referral business
• Prepare design specifications and attend networking opportunities to expand your client base
• Present and propose solutions using our technology-based tools

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in outside sales, with at least 1 year in in-home sales
• Experience with interiors or home improvement products
• Strong closing skills and a consultative sales approach
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with digital presentation tools
• Proven results in closing rates, average sales, and sales figures
• Ability to lift and carry sample books weighing up to 60 lbs
• Comfortable standing, walking, and driving for extended periods throughout the day
• Ability to traverse stairs and multi-story walk-ups

Qualifications

• Interior design experience is a plus

Pay

On target first year earnings of $70,000–$90,000+ with an optional base plus commission or commission only plan. No cap on commission!
