About the role

This position involves designing mechanical systems and components for various projects. The designer will work closely with engineers and project managers to develop innovative solutions that meet client needs while adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and safety standards
• Conduct research on emerging technologies and materials relevant to mechanical design
• Prepare detailed technical drawings and documentation
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve designs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in mechanical design
• Strong proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis)
• Knowledge of ISO and ASME standards
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 - $75,000 per year
