Job Description

Responsibilities
- Create and maintain 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings for mechanical components and assemblies.
- Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) in accordance with ASME Y14 standards.
- Generate assembly drawings, exploded views, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Prepare drawing packages suitable for manufacturing, inspection, and assembly.
- Document, revise, and release drawings and related files in Agile PLM.
- Support Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Identify and resolve design and documentation issues with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with engineers, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams as needed.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal drafting standards and procedures.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a CAD Drafter, Designer, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Creo Parametric (preferred) or SolidWorks (acceptable).
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T and mechanical drawing practices.
- Experience creating detailed part drawings and complex assembly drawings.
- Familiarity with Agile PLM (or similar product lifecycle management systems).
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot design issues with limited support.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
Preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing, automation, or robotics environment.
- Knowledge of machined parts, sheet metal, and mechanical assemblies.
- Experience supporting production or sustaining engineering teams.
