4-month W2 contract in Muskegon, MI with a multinational science and technology company. Potential for extension. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.
About the role
Looking for a mid-level IT Drafter/CAD professional to perform drawing updates using AutoCAD and follow instructions for storing documents and drawings in the engineering file storage system (Autodeste Vault).
Responsibilities
- Prepare engineering facility drawings.
- Prepare engineering drawings to support conceptual designs developed by engineers.
- Create and update sketches, working drawings, and contract documents using Computer Assisted Design (CAD) software.
- Prepare 2D and 3D models.
- Read and comprehend detailed customer requirements, data sheets, and supplier specifications.
- Read engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Prepare documentation to support design drawings.
Requirements
- Two-year technical degree or equivalent certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency using CAD software or other design software.
- Familiarity with drafting techniques and engineering concepts and terminology.
- Experience with the specific design application in use by the client is often required.
Pay
$28.00 - $33.00/hr

Schedule
4-month contract with potential for extension.
