Designer Advocate, Partnerships
About the role
We are seeking a Designer Advocate to partner closely with our Marketing, Sales, and Product teams. You’ll bring deep design expertise, strong product intuition, and a genuine love for the design community into our go-to-market strategies. You’ll also champion our users' voices internally, ensuring their perspectives shape our product evolution.
Responsibilities
- Build, evolve, and deliver certification programs, and scalable enablement programs for Figma's service distribution partners to help them successfully adopt, position, and leverage Figma best practices
- Cultivate trusted relationships with strategic service, distribution, and tech partners, collaborating closely to identify opportunities, share best practices, and drive mutual success
- Develop written, visual, and video content that showcases modern product development workflows, demonstrates Figma's integrations and ecosystem, and equips partners to educate and inspire their customers
- Represent Figma at partner events, workshops, conferences, and customer engagements, highlighting real-world workflows, integrations, and success stories that accelerate adoption
- Gather insights from users and partners including feedback on workflows, integrations, and emerging trends
Requirements
We are looking for someone with deep, hands-on expertise in Figma, experience embedding the platform within product teams, and a strong understanding of modern product design workflows and development environments. You should also be able to communicate complex design workflows and systems with clarity and confidence, deliver compelling presentations, and effectively engage audiences of all sizes.
Qualifications
You should have a background in design, preferably with experience in Figma, and a passion for helping others succeed with design tools. You should also be comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders and be able to translate technical design decisions into practical development outcomes.
Skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to build and maintain relationships, and a collaborative mindset are essential. You should also be able to present complex ideas clearly and confidently, and be comfortable traveling up to 25% of the time.

Pay
The annual base salary range for this role is $153,000 - $317,000 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including individual qualifications, skills, and prior relevant experience.

This role is based out of our San Francisco hub.
