Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance to project teams on implementing advanced design technology techniques, tools, and workflows.
- Deliver project-based insights and feedback to the firmwide Design Technology team to help shape standards and innovation initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted resource in all phases of project delivery, contributing hands-on support as needed.
- Stay current with design software advancements, integrated practice trends, BIM technologies, and emerging digital methods.
- Conduct research on new technologies and evaluate opportunities for firmwide adoption.
- Contribute to high-quality project deliverables using advanced modeling, computation, or analytic methods.
- Mentor and coach team members on best practices for digital workflows, modeling, analysis, visualization, and sustainability-aligned design approaches.
- Support green workplace and sustainability initiatives through responsible digital practices.
Requirements
- Expertise in BIM, modeling, or computational tools.
- Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, Dynamo, Grasshopper).
- Experience with visualization, simulation, or analysis platforms (AR/VR, CFD, energy modeling, daylighting tools, etc.).
- LEED Green Associate or LEED AP accreditation preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in BIM, 3D modeling, computational design, or related digital practice roles.
