About the role
The Design Technician III role supports the range of incoming design and print jobs from all operating units at Medtronic. This role requires less than 10% travel to enhance collaboration and ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- Run a wide range of 3D printing technologies
- Fix and maintain 3D printers of various types and technologies
- Work with customers of varying backgrounds including R&D, Marketing, and Sales
- Commit to delivering high quality parts and design solutions in a timely manner
- Cook up design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning groups such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials, and contractual specifications
Requirements
- Requires 3+ years of relevant technical experience, which may include a combination of practical experience and applicable training, education, or certification
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary ranges for U.S. (excl. PR) locations (USD): $67,200.00 - $100,800.00
- This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
- Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns. Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
