Primary Responsibilities
- Travel to multiple active project sites throughout the workday.
- Collect field measurements and document completed utility installations.
- Prepare clear and accurate as-built sketches that reflect final construction conditions.
- Record field changes, dimensions, depths, and installed components.
- Cookordinate with field crews and project staff to verify project information.
- Maintain organized project documentation and update drawing files as construction progresses.
- Produce high-quality drafting deliverables using CAD software such as MicroStation or comparable platforms.
- Complete documentation in support of project turnover and closeout activities while meeting established deadlines.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in construction documentation, drafting, utility mapping, GIS, utility locating, or a related technical field.
- Experience using MicroStation or similar computer-aided drafting software.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and construction plans.
- Familiarity with active construction environments and field documentation practices.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
