What You'll Do
- Develop detailed CAD drawings and models for concrete pipe and precast products based on project requirements.
- Interpret project plans, specifications, and codes to produce accurate and functional designs.
- Cook up with engineers, project managers, and clients to clarify design needs and resolve discrepancies.
- Aid in preparing bills of materials and other technical documentation.
- Ensure all designs adhere to company standards, industry regulations, and safety requirements.
- Review and revise designs to incorporate feedback or changes as needed.
- Support the production team with technical guidance and resolve design-related issues during manufacturing.
- Maintain accurate records of design files and project documentation.
- Stay updated on advancements in design software, tools, and industry trends.
What You'll Need
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.
- Working knowledge of ERP/inventory control software, preferably Titan.
- Understanding of precast concrete design, production methods, and industry standards.
Your Education
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering technology, drafting, or a related field is preferred.
