About the role

We're seeking a Design Systems Lead to lead a new creative team supporting a global enterprise B2B technology client. This role involves establishing visual standards, creative systems, and team workflows, and delivering high-quality, innovative content across various channels.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain the creative standards across static design, display advertising, email, HTML5 banners, motion, and digital campaigns.
  • Lead and mentor designers and motion designers through creative direction, feedback, and coaching.
  • Develop design systems, templates, workflows, review processes, and quality standards for scalable creative production.
  • Translate client brand guidelines and campaign objectives into compelling visual concepts, storyboards, and creative direction.
  • Ensure creative work remains cohesive, platform-appropriate, and aligned with brand standards while continuously improving the team's output.
  • Collaborate with video editors, motion designers, copywriters, creative strategists, project managers, and account teams to execute integrated campaigns.
  • Leverage AI-assisted creative tools and workflows to enhance efficiency while maintaining high-quality, brand-right work.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in art direction, digital design, or creative leadership in an agency or fast-paced marketing environment.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or managing creative teams and fostering collaboration and growth.
  • A portfolio showcasing exceptional work across digital campaigns, display advertising, design systems, email, and motion storyboards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with the ability to direct motion design and collaborate effectively with animation teams.
  • Experience building scalable creative systems, templates, workflows, and production processes.
  • A strong understanding of typography, composition, branding, visual storytelling, and digital design best practices.
  • The ability to translate brand guidelines into elevated, platform-specific creative that feels thoughtful and original.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills with experience working across cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive, builder mindset with enthusiasm for shaping new processes, teams, and ways of working.

Bonus points

  • Experience supporting enterprise technology, SaaS, or B2B brands.
  • Experience leading large-scale display advertising or HTML5 banner programs.
  • Background in performance marketing or agency creative environments.
  • Experience designing for SaaS platforms, digital products, or UI-driven brands.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and workflows.
