Design Sales Specialist Sales - Inside Sales

About the role

Under general supervision, serves as the professional point of contact for specialty product customers by working with clients to coordinate and create design projects including Kitchen and Bath, Millwork, etc., renovations and remodels. Evaluates scope of projects, integrates information into design layout, and resolves issues.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates scope of projects and integrates information into design layout
• Sells company products and services by consulting with customers to determine project requirements
• Designs plan layouts as requested by customer, utilizing blueprints or sketches
• Initiates and controls specialty orders: purchases, coordinates freight, production, delivery, and proper customer invoicing
• Purchases needed materials and makes add-on sales
• Measures, sells, follows-up, and provides exceptional customer service during field visits
• Works with purchasing department and/or appropriate buyers on special orders including creation of purchase orders

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Two (2) years drafting, architectural design, or CAD application experience

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using drafting, architectural design, or CAD software
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Pay

The base wage for this position is listed above. Team members are also eligible to earn an additional incentive subject to changes in plan design and documents and in accordance with applicable law. Eligibility and the amount of the incentive vary based on the terms and conditions of the locations' active incentive plan for the respective year.
