Design Room Assistant

Description

The Design Room Assistant at Torrid supports product development and implements technical packages. Key responsibilities include:

• Complete silhouette sketching and detailed technical sketches.
• Input and update Tech Packs, Sketches, and BOM's in the PLM system.
• Coordinate basic layout for artwork pages.
• Create and publish line sheets via email.
• Research and build shopping skills for Torrid stores.
• Maintain the Design Room, including organizing samples and presentation materials.
• Support the Design Team with other duties and projects as assigned.

What You’ll Need

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in design or relevant experience preferred.
• One year of design experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to work in a team environment and provide feedback.
• A dedication to meeting customer needs and addressing personal and family issues.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, cope with change, and maintain composure under pressure.
• Organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
