Design Professional 1

About the role

EwingCole is a nationally recognized architecture firm with offices across the country. We are seeking a Design Professional 1 to join our Raleigh office.

Responsibilities

• Assists project teams at all stages of design and delivery, expanding knowledge while producing essential deliverables.
• Generates representational graphics, models, and drawings to support design presentations and the technical delivery of projects.
• Develops legible graphics utilizing appropriate software.
• Effectively creates renderings and sketches to describe ideas.
• Acquires knowledge of technical terms and concepts related to building technology.
• Supports the project team in the delivery of project documentation.
• Actively acquires an understanding of codes and accessibility requirements.
• Applies foundational understanding of site planning concepts.
• Approaches projects with the understanding of sustainable concepts.

Requirements

• Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor of Architecture
• Architectural Experience Program (AXP)
• Eligibility for or in process of attaining professional registration
• Prior Experience:
• Prior summer internships
• Prior entry level experience
• Master of Architecture
