Design & Presentations Internship | Fall 2026
Brilliant Agency, one of the most respected and rapidly growing agencies focused on family-oriented brands, is seeking a remote Design & Presentations Intern to support the agency’s growing, award-winning team. This internship runs from June 1 to December 18, with a commitment of 15 hours per week.
About Us
We are a unique marketing agency with nearly 25 team members across the US. We specialize in PR, influencer, and social media services for consumer lifestyle brands in categories like baby/maternity, toys/games, food/beverage, and CPG. Our remote-first culture prioritizes connection—through costume contests, virtual happy hours, and Slack GIFs—while providing the resources needed to thrive without a traditional office.
Ideal Candidate
- Resourceful, committed, and deliberate
- Strong eye for design, layout, and visual storytelling
- Able to translate vision into clean, compelling slides
- Proficient in Canva (presentations + graphics)
- Skilled at simplifying information visually, not just aesthetics
- Detail-oriented with typography, spacing, and consistency
- Open to feedback and quick iterations
- Interested in how design supports strategy and client work
- Excited to build a career foundation post-graduation
- Video/post-production editing is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Presentation & Slide Design: Translate team ideas, outlines, and data into clean, visually compelling slides; build/update presentations using Brilliant’s Canva templates; improve slide structure and clarity for internal/client decks; polish messy content into easy-to-understand visuals.
- Graphic Design Support: Create simple graphics for internal/client needs (e.g., social mockups, one-pagers).
- Creative Collaboration: Work with account teams to bring ideas to life visually; share suggestions for improving templates and design systems.
Internship Details
We offer two internship sessions: Spring/Summer (January–May/August) and Fall/Winter (June/ August–December). Many interns stay for multiple sessions, with active interns getting priority for future spots. This role provides meaningful agency experience, including cross-department collaboration and exposure to agency life. Interns must meet deadlines, respond promptly to messages, and communicate proactively.
Preferred timeline: June 1–December 18, 2026 (flexible based on candidate availability).
Requirements
- Rising sophomore, junior, or senior
- Experience using Canva (required)
- Intermediate understanding of presentation design/layout
- Ability to work from and improve templates
- Portfolio or sample work (presentations/graphics)
- Commitment to 15 hours/week during office hours (8 AM–5 PM in your time zone)
- Professional demeanor and drive to succeed
- Eagerness to learn and ask questions
- Resourceful attitude with keen attention to detail
Candidates must verify eligibility for college credit (though credit is not required). Selected interns receive a $250/month reimbursement for personal cell phone, computer, and home internet use.
