Design Phase Engineer - Data Center Preconstruction

Responsibilities

Support the project team in achieving scope and budget alignment, schedule alignment, an integrated team experience, construction readiness, and excellent financial performance.

Aid in establishing and managing project budget and scope expectations, budget trending logs, and associated communications and resources.

Create and manage project schedules and key milestones, holding team members accountable for reaching set milestones.

Assist with the regulatory approval and permitting process.

Prepare bid packages and contract manuals, support bid analysis and subcontractor selection.

Identify technical design and specification concerns, escalate as needed to achieve resolution.

Requirements

Hold a Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, Estimating, or a related field.

Minimum of two years’ relevant experience.

Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project, and pertinent web application skills.

Ability to travel up to 100%.

Qualifications

Minimum of six years relevant experience for Design Phase Engineer I.

Minimum of eight years relevant experience for Design Phase Engineer II.

Skills

Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project, and pertinent web application skills.

Pay

The base pay range for this role is $84,100 MIN - $113,500 MAX for Design Phase Engineer I.

The base pay range for this role is $93,400 MIN - $126,100 MAX for Design Phase Engineer II.

Schedule

This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
