Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day data center operational support
- Escort and coordinate with dispatched field engineers
- Manage parts shipping, receiving, and inventory
- Maintain and update environment documentation (serial numbers, elevations, runbooks, etc.)
- Cookordinate with colocation teams for power, cooling, and facility maintenance activities
- Execute customer-directed system and version updates
- Proactively monitor servers and notify customers of issues
- Open and manage service requests; triage and coordinate break/fix activities with Dell support
- Perform troubleshooting, log collection, and follow vendor-recommended resolutions
- Support firmware upgrades and hardware break/fix activities
- Handle parts replacement and hardware deployment
- Conduct OS installation, GPU configuration, and any testing
- Support system testing and validation to ensure operational readiness
- Handle random or urgent issues as they arise, serving as flexible escalation and coordination point
Requirements
- Ability to work onsite in Memphis, TN
- Basic network experience
- Basic server experience
- Linux log experience
