About the role
Lead a team of professionals in the design and implementation of sustainable infrastructure projects. Oversee project scopes, budgets, and timelines while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project scopes that align with client needs and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Oversee project budgets and schedules, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and stay within budget constraints.
- Ensure all projects adhere to environmental and sustainability standards, conducting regular audits and reporting on progress.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, regulatory bodies, and community groups, to secure project approvals and support.
- Train and mentor junior staff, providing guidance on sustainable practices and project management techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in sustainable infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery and compliance with environmental regulations.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Experience with sustainable design principles and green building certifications (LEED, BREEAM, etc.) is advantageous.
- Knowledge of local and international environmental laws and regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
