Design Manager

About the role

Lead a team of professionals in the design and implementation of sustainable infrastructure solutions. Oversee projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines
• Manage project teams, including coordination with clients, consultants, and contractors
• Ensure adherence to sustainability and regulatory requirements
• Conduct regular progress reviews and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Prepare and present project reports and presentations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure management
• Proven leadership skills and experience managing multidisciplinary teams
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and sustainable practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera)
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building certifications (e.g., LEED, BREEAM)
