Responsibilities

  • Provide routine technical support and advice in design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, and execution of field tasks.
  • Plan and conduct routine technical or engineering-related assignments.
  • Provide resolution to routine technical or engineering-related problems.
  • Develop and recommend procedures and methods.
  • Evaluate, select, and apply technical techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment in making adaptations and modifications.
  • Interface, operate, and program industrial PLCs—specifically Allen-Bradley (Rockwell Automation)—using ladder logic, ControlLogix, HMI, and FactoryTalk applications.
  • Apply knowledge of industrial automation, instrumentation, and controls, including servo drives, PID tuning, robotics, flow, temperature, pressure, analytical devices, measurement, and vision systems.
  • Assist in the design of automation control systems adhering to electrical standards, human factors, installation/cost, and maintenance best practices.
  • Oversee field work, including new control system installations, functional checkout, integration into existing systems, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a technical field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
  • Knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques, and criteria.
  • Good communication skills to comprehend and convey detailed technical data.
  • Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills.

Pay

Salary: $84,000 - $110,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
